UAE urges Qatar to change policy after terror list issued

Dubai, Jun 10 (IANS): The United Arab Emirates (UAE) top diplomat said on Friday that the list issued on Thursday of 59 individuals and 12 organisations linked to terrorism gives Qatar a chance to change its policy.

The list is an opportunity for Qatar "to change direction away from petulance and escalation," after the list of Qatar-linked "terrorists and terror groups" was issued by Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain and Egypt, Anwar Gargash, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, said on his twitter account, Xinhua reported.

A solution can only be achieved "through diplomacy, not resort to 'ally' Turkish and Iranian, and the starting point addresses concerns of siblings about their security and stability targeted policy," he added.

"Despite the difficulty of the crisis on the Gulf and its people, but in clear relief, it is difficult to deal with a partner in his duplicity to undermine world partners," Gargash noted.

Iran has offered to provide food to Qatar after Saudi Arabia closed the country's only land border and its own airspace for Qatari aircraft.

On Friday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan ratified a fast-track decision by the Turkish parliament to send up to 5,000 troops to Qatar.

Regional politics that have been long simmering are now things are coming into the open. In the Syrian (cr-ISIS) most Islamic countries took clear sides, and now we see leaders emerging from the conflict.
As always Turkey played double role as Erdogan clearly wanted to lead the Sunni Muslims. Whereas, Saudi Arabia also wants to lead, and is being supported Islamic countries that are presently siding with them. Hence, sooner or later we will see a clear leader.

Iran is the undisputed leader of the Shite group, and once the above is settled we will a showdown between the two - mark my words.

At one side you want strict action on Terrorism and when someone follows it ano you are mocking them??? Shame on your mentality.

This is as if, your mentally is to punish others but not your relatives such as siblings when done with any mistake or crime. This is what happening in today's courts, departments abd Government offices in India. You give respite to your loved ones but take action on others.

Madam always try to support only truth no matter even if it's againat your kith and kin.

We shouldn't let that happen. Anything bad happening to these countries will indirectly effect not only India, but also many developing nations. Thousands of families relying on remittances from these countries. If they set fire to oil wells, like Saddam did, it will create environmental problem all over the world.
