Udupi, Jun 9: The Harsha showroom located at heart of the city had a special guest, Ki-Wan Kim, the India managing director of South Korean electronic major LG Electronics, on Thursday June 7.
Ki-Wan Kim sought the the marketing details from the branch officials.
The administrative director of Prakash Retail Private Limited, K Suryaprakash, welcomed and handed over a memento as a token of gratitude to Ki Wan. Meanwhile, director Harish M, management chief Siddharstha Prabhu, Ashok Kumar, Suresh Kumar, Suresh M, Rajesh, Ramesh and Kalmanje accompanied Ki Wan.
Following the commercial visit to Harsha showroom Udupi, a press meet was conducted at The Ocean Pearl Hotel, Udupi.
Addressing media persons, Ki-Wan said, "The LG company is adopting low fuel consumption techniques in new LG products to increase the efficiency of the product and use less radiation, considering the health aspect."
He further said, "LG has been introducing various products in India, for the last 20 years. There are industries in Greater Noida and Pune, in line with the ‘Make in India’ initiative."
He explained the uniquesness of the company's latest cellphones, "There is a panic button designed in K-10 LG 2017 smart phone for emergency calls. Customer can connect to all emergency services by dialling ‘112’. Through this one stop service, we have achieved the recommendations of Telecom Control Board for the first time. The phone has many special features along with wide-angle selfie camera.
A technically advanced LG G6 smart phone which will be launched in the market soon, was designed to fulfill the customer’s desire. There is a full-vision display, which gives an amazing experience to customers while watching movies along other attractive features, which protect the cell phone from pollution and water," he added.
"The next important project is launching dual inverter air conditioner with new star ratings. LG has taken the inverter technology one step further with dual inverter, which will consume 50% lesser energy than a conventional AC. LG inverter AC uses dual rotary compressor which has twin Rotors, which results in faster cooling, high energy savings, low operational noise and greater stability. LG’s air conditioners are also equipped with the 'mosquito away' feature that aid consumers to stay protected from mosquitoes at home.
