Udupi, Jun 2: Amrith Shenoy has been appointed president of the campaigning committee for the constituency's Vidhana Sabha of the Congress party recently.
He is also member of the Member of Academic Council, Mangaluru University, nominated by the Karnataka state government in the year 2015.
He has rendered service as vice president of Udupi Block youth Congress committee in 2008 and served as secretary of Karnataka Pradesh Youth Congress from 2009 to 2011, vice-president of Udupi-Chikmagalur Lokasabha Youth Congress from 2011 to 2013.
Shenoy is also an active social worker in private institutions and has led many campaigns for instance blood donation and help to poor students.
Amrith Shenoy is the founder of a social service group ‘Being Social’.
