Mangaluru, Jun 1: The schools following the state syllabus have reopened on Thursday, June 1 after summer vacations today. A few schools reopened this Monday.
Most of the children are horrified with the thought of going to the school again by having to get out of their beds early, get busy with preparing to go to school in the morning, having early breakfast, packing up things, going to school either walking or getting crumpled in a corner of a vehicle and study at school.
But at the same time they are eager to meet their old friends, share their experiences during the holidays and to make new friends.
Many parents were seen accompanying their children on the first day.
Auspicious occasions are almost over, guests have returned to their places and rainy season is peeping in.
