Mangaluru lad Dhrishaj bags 10th rank in national-level law entrance test

Mangaluru, May 30: Dhrishaj Suresh from here has succeeded in bagging tenth rank at national level Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2017. He has scored 146.5 marks out of possible 200. Considering that the examination is highly competitive and held at the national level, the achievement of the student deserves to be highly commended.

Dhrishaj (18), a student of Sharada PU College here, completed II PU course this year. He wants to enter National Law School of India University (NLSIU) at Bengaluru and then pursue Indian Foreign Service, it is gathered. Dhrishaj used to go to Bengaluru to attend coaching classes there during weekends as it was felt that the level of coaching in the city has not been up to the high standard needed to come out with flying colours in the examination.

Dhrishaj's father was in the Indian Army, while his mother happens to be a professor at St Aloysius College here.

In the said examination, a student from Mysuru, Ananya H S, has got 11th rank. She happens to be a student of National Public School, Mysuru. She was preparing for this examination since the last over two years and attended coaching classes at Bengaluru.

Pranav Tripathi from UP secured first rank in this examination. He and six others from his state have shared the top seven ranks in the examination, which was conducted this time by Chanakya National Law University, Patna.
