Mumbai, May 27: After successful shows across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Qatar, Sharjah, Israel, London, Canada, Mangaluru and other places, 'Ek Aslyar Ek Na', the much hyped Konkani movie is all set for release in Mumbai, Mira Road at PVR Cinemax on Sunday, June 18.
Shodhan Prasad along with Ivan D’Souza of Mumbai will be arranging this super hit Konkani movie for Konkani movie lovers of Mumbai and it will be first-come, first-served seating arrangements. Hence, the organisers have requested the audience to arrive soon and grab their seats as there is great demand for tickets. The show is going to be houseful as was the response in other places released so far.
Producer Frank Fernandes and director Pradeep Barboza have requested all Konkani citizens in Mumbai and nearby to come in large numbers along with family and friends and show support towards their mother tongue Konkani.
'Ek Aslyar Ek Na' is Pradeep Barboza's first Konkani film for which he has written the story and dialogues too. A well known personality in Konkani circles, he has vast experience in several Konkani successful plays and has also played the lead role in 'Ek Aslyar Ek Na'. Very promising and upcoming actress Priya Menezes has played the female lead role. Some of the artistes include 'Memory' Fame Richard Sequeira, Jerald Moras and Melwyn D'Almeida, the famous comedy trio of Konkani, John D'Silva who is already famous in Goan cinema, Deepak Paladka of Tulu movies 'Nirel' and 'Dhand', Alwyn Danty, Lucy Aranha of Kuwait, Lavina Gomes of Dubai, Godwin Castelino, versatile actors Alphonse D'Souza Moodubelle, Claude D Leema Shirva, Andrew Master Paladka, Gladys Hospet, Rons London, Joseph Mathias, Clara Rodrigues Abu Dhabi, Lu, Shawn Mangalore, Rohan, Prafulla and many other aspiring actors. On the whole 'Ek Aslyar Ek Na' is a complete entertainment package for viewers ever made in Konkani so far.
The technical team comprise of 'Savari 2' Kannada movie fame D Shashikumar who has handled the cinematography, music by Vanil Veigas and lyrics by Wilson Kateel. Singers Prajoth D'Sa, Ashwin D'Costa, Priya Menezes, Jyothsna Roshan and Anjana Padmanabhan have lent their voice to the melodious songs. Stany Bela and Kishore Moodbidri are the assistant directors. Editing has been handled by award winning editor of Tulu film 'Chandikori' fame Sujith Nayak. Stunts have been directed by famous Kannada action director Mass Madha and choreography by Akul, Girish and Rajesh Brahmavar. Alphonse Moodbelle and Rajesh Kudla has given their best as production in-charge.
