Mangaluru, May 26: There is no bigger happiness to a son, than to celebrate his mother’s birthday giving surprise visit to her, landing from a different place to a destination where she lives. And then followed by many guests, neighbours and relatives visit; besides calls, whatsapp and facebook messages and video conferences to even a priest visiting home to bless the house followed by a quiet dinner.

And on the other hand, is a Page 3 party sequence wherein models, actors, party animals and socialites greet, meet, dine, drink and dance together.

The difference between the two is mother Jaya Pinto and her son, Sidharth Pinto. On Mother's birthday, the son is missing and does not even call to wish her, and at Page 3 party sequence, he is with his friends enjoying and dancing to glory with new friends, Ritesh, Tusshar and Bipasha.


    


Between the two major highlights of these two above sequences, is the introduction of Alia, the matured and responsible love interest of Sidharth; Kannan the loyal servant of the house of Jaya Maa and Varun, the cousin of Sidharth who is happy visiting his aunt, on her birthday and always looks upto her as his mom.

And there is a Lions Club celebration and a peaceful visit to an old age home, St Anthony Ashram as well.

The above sequences will be seen in two episodes of 'Maa – Yeh Cinemaa Hai' which was aired on May 21 and forthcoming May 28.

'Maa - Yeh Cinemaa Hai' is edited by Santosh Chawla with assistance from Vignesh Thanupillai, music by Punith Ranganathan and is produced by Ranjeet Jha with Edward D'Souza. A RKJ Production, The Studio Agency, Punith Studios and Malani Talkies presentation, it has story, screenplay, dialogues, camera and direction by Sundeep Malani.

The film series can be watched on Daijiworld 24x7 television channel, every Sunday at 7.30 pm with its repeat telecast on Tuesdays at 11.30 am and Friday midnight (Saturday early) at 12 am.
