Puttur: Wild elephants give tough time to people, fields damaged

Puttur, May 26: Some wild elephants have been giving tough time to people in Uppinangadi area for the past few days, it is gathered.

People from Shiradi have complained that coconut and banana trees in their fields have been damaged.

Some have said that there are three elephants in the herd.

Forest officers have visited the damaged fields. They said action will be taken to contain the wild elephants.
