Beltangady: Thieves strike school, decamp with Rs 46,000

Beltangady, May 25: An english medium school in venur in Aladangady village in the taluk was reportedly robbed by miscreants on the late hours of May 23.

The thieves have decamped with Rs 46,000 kept in cupboard, according to school sources. The admission of students is in progress at the moment in the school. The involvement of locals in the robbery is highly suspected as only they could have information about the money.

A case has been registered at Venur police station and investigation is on.
