Mangaluru: Attempt to murder- Shopkeeper stabbed by unknown assailants

Mangaluru, May 25: A shopkeeper was stabbed by unknown assailants at Harekala Kadavu within Konaje police station limits on the late night of Wednesday, May 24.

Abdul Rahiman (35) from Pavoor is the shopkeeper injured.

Abdul Rahiman was closing his juice shop when five persons came in a Maruti Omni car and stabbed him on his head, hands and legs indiscriminately with knife. Then they fled in the car.

Abdul Rahiman was rushed to a hospital in Natekal for treatment.

It is said that the area is surrounded by some ganja addicts. Abdul Rahiman is said to have complained to the police about the troubles posed by ganja addicts there. Police suspect that the ganja addicts must have tried to kill Abdul Rahiman to take revenge.
