Mangaluru gets new destination for womenswear as 'Saheli' opens

Mangaluru, May 21: 'Saheli', a clothes store with a dedicated collection of womenswear, was inaugurated on Sunday May 21. The store is located on the ground floor of Mangalore Gate Building, Kankanady bypass road here.

Owned by four sisters - Surekha Sailesh, Sukhanya Kiran, Nisha Sashikumar, and Shubha K - the store is an abode to exquisite silk sarees, and salwar collection, at affordable prices.

The clothes store was inaugurated by their mother Jayanti K. The ceremonial lighting of lamp was done by the elder women of the family.

The two-floor store has an exclusive collection of pure silk sarees, and Kanchivaram silk sarees. Among a whole range of sarees one can also find soft silk, fancy, and cotton-silk sarees.

Saheli's collection ranges from chic occasion wear to a smart regular wear.

The store also accommodates a range of kurtis, leggings and palazzos besides the wedding collection inclusive of salwar suits and lehengas.

Unstitched dress materials, apart from the ready-to-wear clothing are available at the store.

'Saheli' caters to the middle to upper-class woman, with the best silk sarees at prices ranging from Rs 500 to Rs 45,000.
