Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (RJP)

Bengaluru, May 18: Legislative Assembly Speaker, Koliwad, has issued a notice to actor turned politician and Congress leader M H Ambareesh.

The notice was issued on Wednesday, May 17 through B S Mahalingesh, under-secretary of Legislative Assembly.
Ambareesh represents Mandya Assembly constituency.

Mandya district JD(U) president B S Gowda had complained to the Speaker that Ambareesh was not attending the Assembly after he ceased to be minister in chief minister Siddaramaih’s cabinet. Gowda demanded as he missed more than 3 sessions, he should be disqualified as an MLA.

Ambareesh probably has more important assignments at the Bangalore Turf Club, and hence, he is most likely to be exempted permanently from attending State Assembly sessions.

In any case, in view of his not actively participating in the Assembly proceedings, his attendance or absence may not make a real difference either to Ambareesh or to the State legislature or to the people of Mandya or Karnataka State.

What is the Point of issuing notice and creating drama all. Just fire/sack him .what is the point of issuing notice. All the Gov officer or so called MLA in India don't have accountability ,They should be fine with penalty .Once these will be in place all will do there work properly and in time.

Ambarish is an irresponsible political leader..He came to this field just for fun and publicity and not for serving people.. I recently saw one video where CM, HM ,Mr.B.R.Shetty(NMC) and other leaders & Businessmen attended one function where Ambarish was also there but he could not stand and speak properly due to QTR influence..(Enne Prabhava). He was calling CM Siddu " Baaro illi..nintuko illi ".... Time to kick him out from Politics.

This guy has time to drink and enjoy with his party mates. No time to attend the sessions. Hope our CM will call him for a drink and explain him about the seriousness of this and ask him to concentrate on the upcoming elections.

In India it's very easy for an actor to become a politician. What is the use of being an MLA and absent from assembly sessions. What about the constituency he represents. How will he present the issues of his constituency? What development will he do?
