Mumbai, May 16: Damodar K Shetty aged 56, father of talented child artiste, Vaishnavi D Shetty, titled Abhinava Kalabharathi passed away on Sunday late night May 14 in Mumbai.

He was a resident of Adve Sannosi, Nandikoor, Udupi. Being a businessman in Mumbai, he was staying at J B Nagar housing society, J B Nagar, Andheri east.

He has left behind his wife Kesari D Shetty, daughters Tripti D Shetty and Vaishnavi D Shetty, a large number of relatives and friends.

His last rites were performed at Parsivada crematorium, Andheri east on Monday evening, May 15. A large number of art lovers, elite and others paid their last respects.
