Mangaluru, May 15: A book titled 'Pay India – 2017: Emerging Tax Reforms and Implications' was released in University Evening College, Mangaluru on May 10.

Chief guest of book launch ceremony, B A Naniyappa, joint commissioner of Commercial Taxes released the book and addressed the gathering. 

He said, “The custom of tax collection is not new for our country and that we could find from the trace of history that taxes were levied and collected. The upcoming GST is trending in various economic changes and in future there will be more clarity in this regard.” 

Dr Subhashini Srivastava, editor of the book and principal of the college introduced the book. 

Dr A Siddiq, coordinator, P G studies in commerce welcomed the gathering. Venkatesh Nayak, organizing secretary of Pay India conference 2017 proposed vote of thanks. 

Raghavendra, faculty member introduced the guests. Shahla compered the programme.
