Mangaluru, May 10: 'Nanda Deep', the new residential apartment project by Nirmaan Homes was launched with bhoomi puja at the project site near Urwa Marigudi Temple here on Wednesday May 10.

In his inaugural speech, Krishna J Palemar said, "In India 60% of the people still do not have their own houses. The governments are putting in a lot of efforts to solve this issue. State and central government have already introduced various schemes to enable the poor to own houses. Builders too have a responsibility to help them. If builders construct homes under the guidelines of government schemes they will get more benefits and reduction in taxes from the government. At the same time, builders should ensure that the building does not harming nature. They should plant trees in the surroundings of the buildings. This will attract more customers and thereby help their business."

Congratulating the builder, lawyer Gopal Maniyani said, "Builders should construct buildings as per plans without delay and should provide facilities as promised at the time of the deal to customers."

Walter Nandalike said, "A builder who launches projects amid tough market conditions is bound to succeed. It shows his business acumen and experience. Nirmaan Homes is the best example for this."

"Bhoomy Pooja" is a fitting name when prayers and rituals are performed for a major apartment project called "Nanda Deep" launched at Urwa. More and more housing projects is a good symbol of a long term planning for an ever-growing City of Mangalore. The economic situations are causing concerns all over the world, but in a country such as India where population is growing with greater affluence, demand for better housing and better living conditions will always have a room to fit in at any corner of Mangalore. This new apartment complex will bring more value and appreciation for Urwa, a land that is well located between Mangalore City and the Port of Mangalore.

Mangalore is growing in all directions and that will benefit all the people of Mangalore because in one way or another. The housing construction has a long range of benefit for all sectors of the local economy including steady employment for the labor force and also the quality of infrastructure. The stable supply of utilities such as water, power, sanitation, parking and suitable roads for movement of traffic will automatically bring progress.

Our best wishes to all those that are instrumental in creating a better environment and beauty for Mangalore - a place that we love.
