Rasika's wish to experiment with comedy comes true

Mumbai, Apr 30 (IANS): Actress Rasika Dugal always had a desire to experiment with comedy on screen, and is now happy to see her dreams come true.

Her latest project is a video titled "So Basically...this is an actor's Life | Rasika Dugal" on Culture Machine's digital channel Blush. It released earlier this week.

In this instalment of "So Basically", Rasika performs a comic set and shows the audience the life of an actor through the 'characters' she comes across on a daily basis.

She said in a statement: "As actors, we work with different people all the time. One of the things I have found most challenging about my job is to quickly adapt to the idiosyncrasies of everyone I work with."

"This video is a funny take on some of those interactions. God knows I needed to laugh about some of them!"

In the video, she portrays multiple characters such as ad film director, agent, out-of-work actor, assistant director and digital marketing head.

"Also, I have been waiting to experiment with comedy on screen. How often do you get to play 11 different characters in one day? It was a treat for me," said the "P.O.W.- Bandi Yuddh Ke" actress.

"So Basically" is a quirky series on Blush.
