Karkala: Tempo-bike collision - two-wheeler rider succumbs

Karkala, Apr 28: In an accident which happened between a tempo and motor bike at Ninjur in Palli village near here on Wednesday April 26, the bike rider lost his life. The deceased has been identified as Manjuprasad Shetty (26), a resident of Sanoor village.

The youth wanted to visit Karwar. He therefore was going to Udupi railway station to catch a train from there in his motor bike via Palli, when tragedy struck.

Manjuprasad worked as AC mechanic for a private firm at Mangaluru. He also supported his family by working as newspaper distributor in the town since the last 13 years. He is survived by mother.
