'Kori Rotti' crew recreates Janmashtami scenes at Udupi

Udupi, Apr 27: It seemed like Shree Janmashatami celebrations had erupted in the Temple Town of Udupi, with joyful dances and the traditional Pili Vesha filling the streets. Only, it wasn't the festival, but the scene of a Tulu movie being shot.

The cast and crew of the upcoming Tulu movie 'Kori Rotti' recreated the vibrant Shree Krishna Janmashtami celebrations here, as part of the shooting.

Veteran actor Naveen D Padil was seen doing the tiger dance steps along with the troupe, much to the delight of the locals who stood some distance away to watch the shooting.

Actor Rajanish, who plays the lead role too joined Padil.

'Kori Rotti' is being directed by Rajanish, who is also making his acting debut in Tulu cinema. The film is being produced under the banner of Rocket Creations. The cast includes Sandalwood actress Anushree in the female lead, Naveen D Padil, Aravind Bolar, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Sathish Bandale, Ramesh Rai Kukkuvalli, Manju Rai, Harish Rai and others.
