Udupi: Man breathes his last after falling down from terrace

Udupi, Apr 24: A person who had scaled the roof of the house at Pangala village near Katapadi to attend to certain repair work there, accidentally fell down on Sunday April 23 and lost his life.

The man who met with this fate was Alwin Shantakumar Soans (52). He was the husband of Chinnavva Soans and resident of Selmitha S Villa Mission Compound at Pangala. He had scaled the terrace of his home on Sunday afternoon when he lost his balance and fell down to the ground. He suffered serious injuries and therefore, was taken to the district hospital here for treatment.

The doctors who examined him said that he had already lost his life. A case of unnatural death stands filed at Kaup police station relating to this case.
