Udupi, Apr 23: “I will resign from my seat and retire from active politics if JD(S) wins between 50-60 seats in the upcoming assembly elections,” challenged JD(S) rebel MLA Zameer Ahmed Khan.

Speaking in the news conference at Padubidri on Saturday, April 22, Zameer said that while politics is inevitable for Kumaraswamy, he knew to live without politics. He also revealed that rebel MLAs will join Congress soon.

“The people in the state know what Kumaraswamy is. He had not kept his promises made under oath to transfer power to Yeddyurappa. He has double standards. Does he trust the Almighty? I trust the Almighty Allah. I am willing to go to Dharmasthala with the Quran. Is he willing to do it?” he asked.

“There is no offer from Congress. They will definitely give the seat of MLA. I have faith in Rahul and Sonia Gandhi. They will never go against their promises. Seats have been reserved for all rebel MLAs. Another eight MLAs will come out in next four months. BJP has started mission 150. Kumaraswamy is saying 130 seats. The total is 280 seats while there are only 224 seats. I too can say 200 seats. What do they think the people in the state are?” he posed the question.

“Deve Gowda does not allow anybody else to come up in politics. Theirs is family politics. Former CM Kumaraswamy is roaming from house to house in Nagamandala. Let them give up this dirty politics. We will not do like that. My mind is not towards JD(S). I will never go back to the party. People in Chamarajpet have considered me as their house son and not as a politician. They will choose me if I stand from any party,” Zameer said.

“The Chief Minister has ordered for COD enquiry of Mangaluru’s Qureshi death case. Truth will come out from it. Muslim organizations and leaders were thinking of holding Muslim conference on April 28 and ‘Bengaluru Chalo’ programme. They have been persuaded to postpone them as those will be linked to Qureshi case. They have agreed for it. They have been asked to hold the conference after Ramzan,” he concluded.

Voters have become intelligent and they are not giving any chance to king makers which JDS wants to be . Mandates now a days are decisive and to a single party of their choice.

You enjoyed Plum positions in JD(S) ministry and now playing betrayal role when party is weak. Cheluvaraya Swamy who noone knew In Karnataka was made Minister Under JD(S) and given top positions and now he too playing dirty politics with you. Do not be so ungrateful to the party given you all positions and shelter .Reconsile and join JD(S) rather than supporting Congress which is crowned to be mother of Corruption. You have said so many good things about JD(S) and what happened now? When JD(S) Came to power JD(S) projected as top leader eventhough there were other deserving cases like Merajuddin Patel but you did not keep trust of JD(S) party and always spoke against Party with your ungrateful friends who enjoyed power. When Power was not transferred to Yediyurappa You were always with Kumaraswamy and now why you are talking about that?
