Mangaluru: Hotel workers clash at Kuthar - Stabbed youth succumbs

Mangaluru, Apr 22: One of the two persons who was stabbed in a clash that broke out between hotel workers at Kuthar passed away hours later in a hospital on Saturday April 22.

The deceased has been identified Nitesh (26), a native of Bihar.

Workers of a hotel near Shanti Bagh in Kuthar here fought over some issue among themselves. In this incident, two were stabbed with a knife.

The hotel workers were staying in a room near the hotel when quarrel broke out. Nitesh, a labourer from Bihar, suffered critical injuries and was admitted to hospital.

The nature of injury suffered by the other worker, Pradeep, is not very serious, it is said.

Tahir, who is from Orissa, has been accused of stabbing his colleagues. Tahir has fled from the scene.

A case has been registered and investigations are on.
