Four killed in J&K road accident


Jammu, Apr 21 (IANS): Four persons were killed and five others were injured on Friday in a road accident in Jammu and Kashmir's Doda district, an official said.

A taxi going to Gundoh village skidded off the road at Khelani and dropped into a gorge on Friday morning, the police official added.

Four passengers died on the spot. The injured were initially shifted to a hospital in Doda town, he said.

"Three of the critically injured are now being shifted to Government Medical College Hospital in Jammu for specialised treatment," the police said.
