When Modi broke security protocol to meet his big 'little fan'

Surat, Apr 17 (PTI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday broke his security protocol and stopped his convoy mid-way to meet a four-year-old girl here during his Gujarat tour.

Nancy Gondaliya rushed towards the Prime Minister's car when thousands of people were waiting on both sides of the road to catch his glimpse on his way to Kiran Hospital from Circuit House.

Seeing the little girl rushing towards the car, SPG commandos accompanying the Prime Minister tried to stop her.

But to the surprise of everyone, Modi promptly have his convoy stopped and asked the commandos to allow her to come to him.

Modi exchanged a few words with the little girl, who was then taken back to her father.

The entire episode was captured on camera and its footage went viral on social media.

Nancy, daughter of diamond-cutting worker Prakash Gondaliya, resides in Vedroad area of the city.

"She is a big fan of the Prime Minister and whenever he comes on television she addresses him as 'Modi Dada'," Prakash said.

"Today morning she insisted on meeting Modi. So I took her to one of the streets from where Modi's convoy was to pass. I told her if she wants to meet him she should run towards his car and waive at him," he added.

"The Prime Minister asked her name and enquired about the big watch she was wearing. He affectionately rubbed her cheeks and sent her back to me," Prakash added.

The girl appeared excited after meeting the PM and kept chanting 'Modi Dada'.

Why are you talking about Petrol price hike man? It was not because of FEKU, it was because of international market fluctuations.

Only during Congress rule, petrol prices should not hike, because we buy petrol from local market so we can sell it for under Rs. 10 per ltr.

    thank you

Father is a diamond merchant. Is it same guy who gifted (donated) suit ? " I told her if she wants to meet him she should run towards his car and waive at him". Beyond doubt this is pre-planned stunt. Our hero was told this sign and as soon as he saw the girl, recognized and told the convoy to stop the car. All stage managed flop shows. People with little brain also can realize the reality. Bhakt will always say wah wah wah !

Our PM is a true gentlemen. The same scenario took place during the PM's visit to Australia. He admires all the citizens and his supporters, right from a small child to a grown up old person. Must say a true human being by heart.

Politics is not common man's business and it is not what we see. There are no sachhaas in this field. Many things needs to be stage managed in this field to create opinion. What we hear during election. rallies, promises made there on need not be taken for serious consideration after getting elected. If one has excellent skills of speaking will overcome any hurdles and failed promises by fooling public. This is actual politics in our country. Many years back one of friend from Kerala told me that politicians while making public speech should make their mindset that listeners are first grade fools. This is absolutely true.In Kerala politicians s are superb in public speech.! Exceptions are there like late PM Lal Bahadur Shastri,Atal Bihari Vajapeyiji etc.,who can be termed as ajathashatrus.Advertisement cost always borne by customers and integral part of success of any product. So in politics too....
