Udupi, Apr 16: The students of Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration (WGSHA), Manipal University have come up with a unique concept of retro-cosmo fusion of cuisine culture that prevails in India, yet is undiscovered.

The two-day food festival, named 'Uptown Funk' is being held on April 16 and 17 at Valley View, Manipal.

It is an an initiative to introduce fusion cuisine (India weds Western) to Manipal which has a diverse crowd of students from all over India and abroad.

This food festival is managed completely by the students, who are responsible for each and every aspect of the festival. Restaurants will be set up on both days which will be operational for 4 hours each day from 6:30 pm catering 200 covers approximately.
