Yanbu: Team Binfahad clinch maiden SCC T20 Tournament

Yanbu, Apr 13: Team Binfahad in a brilliant performance clinched their maiden victory at the SCC T20 Tournament defeating Shah XI by 82 runs.

Team Binfahad won the toss and opted to bat first on a wicket that was bound to favour the bowlers. The openers had a breezy start before stiff bowling by Shah XI in the middle over restricted their score to 150 for 9 in 20 overs.

Shah XI batted in right earnest to chase down the target of 151, but it was the bowlers who turned things around in Binfahad's favour. 4-fer by Binfahad bowler Imthiyaz and two wickets each by Shoaib, Aftab and Siraj rattled Shah XI to score just 68 runs, thereby enabling Binfahad to clinch their maiden SCC T20 tournament. For his brilliant match winning spell, Imthiyaaz bagged man of the match award.



Binfahad finished top of the league before entering into the final four where they were able to beat KPK Tigers convincingly in the semi final clash.
