Abu Dhabi Police, FBI explore prospects of joint co-operation


Abu Dhabi, Apr 7 (Emirates247): Major General Maktoum Al Sharifi, Director-General of Abu Dhabi Police, welcomed FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe to discuss a range of issues of common interest pertaining to the training of law enforcement personnel.

Major General Al Sharifi informed McCabe on strategic development plans and programmes that Abu Dhabi Police intend to implement to reach high standards of quality while carrying out services.

Al Sharifi said training and qualification programmes aim to improve skills of police personnel and teach them the latest technological applications to maintain security, stability and crime prevention.

Later, the FBI official toured an exhibition of Abu Dhabi Police’s history and evolution over the last 60 years.
