Kasargod: NCB officials arrest MBA student, accomplice for trasporting ganja

Kasargod, April 8: Officials of the Narcotic Control Bureau arrested an MBA student and another student who were transporting six kg of ganja. The contraband was found hidden in a car and the suspects confessed it was brought from Idukki.

The arrested suspects are identified as Ahmed alias Amu (30), MBA student at Mangaluru and a native of Chattanchal Aramangana, and Shibin (25) resident Kollam.



Three other suspects including Rafik a resident of Chattanchaland, and Rahul a Kollam native are absconding.

Officials of the narcotic cell seized two cars from Mulleriya and arrested the two suspects, after receiving definite information. Though two in the car were arrested, the other three suspects abandoned the car and fled.

Investigations have revealed that they were transporting ganja in hired cars for supplying to different parts in the district.
