Kuwait, Apr 6: The Agnesian all-ladies alumnae organized 'Shimmer Glimmer Sparkle & Shine' on the evening of Friday March 31 at The Royale Terrasse Restaurant.

The eloquent compere Penny Rebello, took the ladies through an evening of fun, dancing and games. The liturgical secretary, Maria Coelho led prayed a short prayer and delivered a speech highlighting the alumnae’s cause of educating deserving girl-students at their Alma Mater.

The lighting of the unity candle by the current working committee, and singing of the college anthem brought on a sign of oneness and strength.

The president of AAK, Felcita D’Souza, formally welcomed the radiant ladies. An in-house Nail and Tattoo Studio added to the evening's frolic. The young female DJs, Ariah and Ananya made their debut, kept the ladies constantly on their toes through their selection of scintillating music.

The young and ravishing Dalia Fernandes was crowned 'Shimmering Queen'. Adept Jackie Alphonso and Jyothi Lobo had the alumnae in splits by their witty answers in the 'Seek Advice Session'.

Anand D'Souza from Waves Events and Rentals was specially thanked for his big-hearted support in providing the sparkling backdrop, the sound and lighting system to support the event's theme. The evening ended on a high note of fun, fellowship and a desire for more events.
