Kasargod: 42-year-old journalist dies as KSRTC bus rams into bike

Kasargod, Apr 4: A journalist died after a Karnataka government bus rammed into bike on the late night of Monday, April 3 on the highway in the outskirts of city.
Mutalib (42) from Chowki is the person deceased. He was the chief reporter of ‘Karaval’ evening newspaper.

As per reports, Mutalib was going home on his bike when KSRTC Airavatha bus from Karnataka hit him from the front. Injured Mutalib was immediately taken to a hospital nearby. Later arrangements were made to take him to a hospital in Mangaluru as he was seriously injured.



Mutalib was declared dead on arrival at the hospital in Mangaluru.

Mutalib had been a journalist for around 20 years. In between he worked in Middle East for some years.
