Mangaluru: 'Kirik Party' sweeps awards at IIFA Utsavam-2017

Mangaluru, Mar 31: In a proud moment for director Rishab Shetty and team, Kannada blockbuster 'Kirik Party' bagged six awards at the grand IIFA Utsavam-2017 held in Hyderabad on March 29.

Kirik Party is a college campus drama and had become a talking point ever since its release and recieved positive response from the critics. The film is inching towards the 100-day mark. 'Kirik Party' stars Rakshith Shetty, Rashmika and Samyuktha Hegde is the lead along with Pramod Shetty, Aravind Iyer, Dhananjay Ranjan in prominent roles.

In Kannada awards category, 'Kirik Party' bagged the best film, Rakshith Shetty was conferred with best actor, best music was awarded to Ajneesh Loknaath, best singer (male) to Vijay Prakash (Belageddhu), best lyrics to Rakshith Shetty (Katheyondha Helide) and best choreography to Rakshith Shetty again.

Rakshith Shetty also bagged the best supporting actor award for his role in the film, 'Godhi Banna Sadharana Maikattu'.
