Mithun(25) the said deceased was a resident of Rajanakunte, Bengaluru.

Late in the evening on Tuesday, March 28, six persons, including Mithun went to the  Bellahalli landfill to collect recyclable garbage. Incidentally, a BBMP earthmover that was dumping garbage there unloaded a huge pile, which fell on Mithun. At once, his companions ran to his help but in vain, as the garbage pile was massive to dig through in time.
