M'luru: Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College, Deralakatte to hold Graduation Day on Mar 29

Mangaluru, Mar 27: Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Deralakatte, a unit of Father Muller Charitable Institutions will be convening its 27th Graduation Day Ceremony for its graduates and postgraduates on March 29 at Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College Auditorium, Deralakatte.

Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, a religious minority institution is the centre of excellence in the field of homoeopathy for the last three decades. The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) and is recognized by Central Council of Homoeopathy & Department of Ministry of AYUSH, New Delhi. The institution provides services to the community with the motto 'Heal and Comfort'. The college conducts undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and is the only institution in Karnataka to offer PG in all the seven specialties. National Assessment and Accreditation Council has accredited the college with ‘A’ grade making it the first Homoeopathic Medical College under RGUHS to be accredited.

On this day, 79 undergraduates and 23 postgraduates will be graduating. The achievements of outstanding students who have secured ranks and gold medals in the university examinations will also be recognized. These meritorious students include five BHMS rank holders, seven MD (Hom) rank holders of different specialties and two gold medals declared by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru both bagged by the students of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College.

The programme will begin at 10.30 am. The chief guest will be Dr M Vijayakumar, vice chancellor, Yenepoya University, Mangaluru. The guest of honour will be Raj Kishore Singh, director, department of AYUSH, Karnataka. Bishop of Mangaluru diocese and president of Father Muller Charitable Institutions, Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza will preside over the function.
