Doha: KMCA to organise fourth Tipu Sultan Cup Cricket tourney on Mar 27

Doha, Mar 27: Karnataka Muslim Cultural Association (KCMA) is all geared up for its fourth Tipu Sultan Cup Soft Ball Cricket Tournament on Monday March 27 evening 6.30 pm at Old Ideal Indian School ground.

‘This year the opening ceremony for KMCA fourth Tipu Cup is planned on March 27 and the closing ceremony is to be held on March 30 at 6.30 pm. Nilangshu Dey, president of Indian Sports Center will be gracing the occasion as chief guest.

Padmashri Mariayappa Tangavelu and Satyanarayana Shimoga will grace the opening ceremony as guests of honour. ICC president Milan Arun will grace the closing ceremony as chief guest, Karnataka state sports minister Pramod Madhwaraj, Qatar Volleyball Association president Ali Ghanem Al Kuwari, Zakaria Jokatte MD of Al-Muzzain Group Saudi will grace the occasion as guests of honour.

This year Karnataka Sangha Qatar, Tulukoota Qatar, Bunts Qatar, Qatar Friends Club, SKMWA, Social Forum Qatar and Hidaya foundation team and host team KMCA will participate in the tournament. League matches, best scorer teams will be selected to semis and finals for Thursday after three days.
