Antonio Banderas suffered from heart attack in January

Malaga (Spain), Mar 27 (IANS): Actor Antonio Banderas has revealed that he had a heart attack in January, but says it
wasn't serious.

The 56-year-old "Shrek" star shared the news of his health scare at a Spanish film festival in Malaga, reports dailystar.co.uk.

"I suffered a heart attack on January 26, but it wasn't serious and hasn't caused any damage," he said here on Saturday.

Banderas spoke out after reports in January that he had been rushed to hospital from his Surrey home in London after experiencing "agonising pains in his chest" while exercising.

However, the actor, who had three stents inserted during an operation, insisted: "It hasn't been as dramatic as some have written."
