Kasargod, Mar 25: Various weapons including a sword were found among some bushes in a deserted spot on the outskirts of Kasargod town here on Saturday March 25.

Based on credible information, the police raided the spot and found a sword, a machete, iron rods, wooden staves, sticks, liquor, beer bottles, utensils and other items.

The items were found on a private land at Kambar Periyadka.

Police have learnt that a systematic plan had been in place to stir clashes in the district. It is suspected that a gang might have spent the night at the spot, and kept the weapons and utensils ready to counter any situation if clashes were to erupt. The gang had also planned to create unrest in the district in the coming days, police suspect. However, the police have thus far failed to arrest the gang members.

Intelligence officials have reportedly learnt miscreants have been planning to create trouble in the outskirts of Kasargod and other surrounding areas. The discovery of weapons at the deserted spot hence gains significance.

Kasargod police led by circle inspector Abdul Rahim took possessions of the weapons and other items. Further investigations are on.

Hope Kerala Chief Minister and the home minister administration will take strict action on such criminal activity group. Kerala Govt must ban such organization and their branches all over state and send the behind bar at least for two years period. Then it will be a lesson and a guide to rest of the state Govt. State Govt mus act immediately and arrest such group members from each and every place from the state. Not to listen to any opposition or to any coomunal mind groups.

RSS political wing BJP is making all out effort to turn 'God's own country' into 'Somalia' through their only means of development namely 'communal'.

I have no idea why this 'social organisation' need military style weapons training for human cause.
Is Indian constitution has special reservation Rashtriya Swayamsevak sangh to possess lethal weapons which no retired military personnel even has without the licenses?

This three time banned organisation which swear to protect constitution is once again proved in saffron terror cases.
Why the law which is applicable Dr. Zakir Naik IRF is not applicable to RSS?
If RSS says that those convicted is no longer its member, then central Home ministry has the records RSS voluntary list which has joining and resigned date?
Why the court has not question the investigation agency , how they procured weapons and explosives?
If death sentence is awarded for Afzal guru and Memon, why the court did not give the same ruling for killing 3 innocent people and injuring more than 17 persons?

Interestingly BJP troll army who appreciated the court ruling on death sentence, know maintained silence on 'deshdrohi'.

No doubt notorious terrorist organisation is behind this who wants to create disturbance in society for political benefit of certain political party. Well done police for your action. You should go deep into the issue and arrest the real culprits and hang them, if possible. Some political party is trying to get power in Kerala on the dead bodies.

First murder of Madrassa teacher. Now hidden weapons. One can easily understand who is behind this plot to create trouble. Such organizations are a curse to India and should be banned. Then only our country will prosper and peace will reign.
