Kundapur, Mar 24: “Police come and harass unnecessarily at night. If my husband has done anything wrong, let them ask him. Instead of that they are troubling me unnecessarily. I have got two small children. Their responsibility is on me. Police act inhumanly without taking my responsibility into consideration,” said a dalit woman from Byndoor at the meeting of two Kundapur police sub divisions held in Kundapur Ambedkar Bhavan on Wednesday, March 22.

DySP Pravin B Nayak who listened to the grievance, asked the woman to submit her complaint in writing for them to take suitable action. Dalit leaders urged to provide justice to the dalit woman.

I find onething typical in Indian Police.when someone goes to complain, first Thing they do is ,they should write and bring.!Why they cant do it self when Troubles are there.Nowadays there are Computers, and can be tipped easily.when a Person is illiterate he/she should go to a Person to ask and write it .she must pay für it,and important it takes time, second they cant read what is written, suppose wrong Interpretation is can turn quite different.suppose when criminal cases ,murderer can easily slip away.Is it always so?Police should be bit cooperative with People, not like big ones.when woman was harassed ask who was it ,and inquirees can be made.
