Udupi: 'Cross to Crown' to enthral devotees at Mother of Sorrows Church

Udupi, Mar 24: Parishioners and other devotees in the diocese are all set to be treated to a unique programme this lent season 'Cross to Crown' here at Mother of Sorrows Church on Sunday, March 26 at 6:30 pm.

Presenting Biblical Konkani dramas during the Lent season has been a tradition. 'Cross to Crown' is two-hour light and sound, song and act musical with 15 devotional hymns sung during the lent season. Konkani, Kannada and English hymns will be sang. Renowned artists from Udupi and Mangaluru will perform in the programme. The main attraction of the evening is said to be an amazing display of sound and lights.

Well-known music director Dolwin Kolalgiri will compose the music for the programme. Fr Fred Mascarenhas, Capuchin Fr Chethan Lobo and Fr Valerian Mendonca will deliver the special message during the event.

Fr Denis D’sa will narrate the entire programme in a unique way.
