Puttur: Man falls from train at Kodimbala, dies

Puttur, Mar 23: The lifeless body of a person was found lying at Majjaru Cross near Kodimbala railway station in the taluk on Wednesday March 22. It is almost certain that the man in question fell down from a moving train. He is suspected to be belonging to Bengaluru.

The telephone number found in his pocket was contacted and information was conveyed. The relatives of the man are expected to come here. The police hope to get all details about the person from his relatives. A ticket indicating his travel from Kumta to Mangaluru on Tuesday and a night train ticket to Bengaluru were found in the possession of the deceased.

Kadaba station house officer, Prakash Devadiga, taluk panchayat member, Fazal Kodimbala and railway police visited the spot.
