Excited about Bollywood debut, says Gautham Kurup

Chennai, Mar 23 (IANS): Actor Gautham Kurup, best known for his work in southern films such as "Thuppakki" and "Kandahar", plays a negative role in his Bollywood debut "Bhanwarey" and he is excited about it.

Talking about the film, a sex comedy about premature ejaculation, Gautham said: "It's a dark comedy based on very funny situations. This is a very new subject for Bollywood and no one has touched this in the past. Everyone who has seen hoardings that read 'Kamzor Mile' or 'Mardana Kamzori' will be able to relate to the story."

"Although I play a negative role, it has a funny side to it."

Gautham said, "The movie is completely a comedy of errors but isn't vulgar or crass at any point."

"It revolves around three guys and what problems they get into while trying to cure their sex problem. It's my first Hindi film so I'm naturally quite excited," he said.

The film is slated to release on Friday. Gautham said that even though the film deals with bold topic, it has been treated humorously to appeal to everybody.

Directed by Shaurya Singh, who also plays the lead, the film also features Karan Thakur and Manoj Bakshi.

In the south, Gautham awaits the release of "Inayathalama and "1971: Beyond Borders".
