Mangaluru: Coast gets rains, partial relief from heat

Mangaluru, Mar 16: People from many parts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts got partial relief from heat on Wednesday, March 15 due to sudden and unexpected rains.

Lightening and thunders were too experienced in many places in addition to rains.

Sullia received more than moderate rains which lasted for nearly two hours. Mundaje, Ujire, Dharmasthala, Beltangady, Guruvayanakere and Madanthyar received good rains. Bellare, Panja, Uppinangadi also experienced light rains.

Mangaluru and Udupi regions both had cloudy weather on Wednesday evening.

With Thursday morning being cloudy, light rains cannot be ruled out in some parts of the coast on Thursday.
