Kasargod: KSRTC bus hits auto rickshaw at Kumbla, traffic affected

Kasargod, Mar 14: An accident between an auto rickshaw and a Karnataka government bus at Kumbla here on Tuesday March 14 resulted in a traffic jam that last almost 45 minutes.

The auto driver, whose identity is not yet known, was injured in the collision.

The KSRTC bus was plying from Kasargod to Mangaluru while the auto rickshaw was transporting tiles from Kumbla to Mogral.

Eyewitnesses said that negligence of the bus driver caused the accident.

Following the mishap, traffic on Mangaluru-Kasargod highway was affected on both sides for about 45 minutes, as people gathered at the spot.

The injured auto driver was admitted to a hospital in Kumbla.
