Mangaluru: SAEC students mark Annual Day, get lauded for hardwork

Mangaluru, Mar 13: St Aloysius Evening College celebrated its 51st College Day on Saturday, March 11, at the college grounds. Damodhar Kamath, principal, Staff Training College, Karnataka Bank Ltd, Mangaluru was the chief guest. Fr Dion Vaz SJ, rector, St Aloysius College Institutions presided over the function. Fr Swebert D’Silva SJ, administrator of SAEC was present on the occasion.

Chief guest Damodhar Kamath congratulated the students for opting an evening college and lauded them for their hard work during the day and pursual of studies in the evening. He highlighted some principles necessary to achieve success in life.


    




























The formal programme was followed by a unique cultural programme which displayed the multi-faceted talents of the students.

Prizes were distributed on this occasion to the student achievers in different fields.

Vice-principal  Ravi Shetty, office bearers of the Students’ Council were present on the occasion.

Principal Dr Manohar V Serrao presented the college report. Convener of the college day  Avil Menezes welcomed the gathering.
