The company got five star rated organisation in 2016.

In an interview with Daijiworld, Prof Rajesh sheds light on his journey of becoming a successful edupreneur.

Q. What inspired you to become an edupreneur?

Ans: Well, I am a professor by choice and a businessman by chance. I always wanted to share the knowledge which was gifted to me. That is how the idea of VPROV came to my mind. In fact, I started VPROV in my first year of IIMS.

Q. How do you differentiate competition in early 2000 to 2017?

Ans: Trust me, a lot has changed. Examinations like CAT/GRE/GMAT/CLAT and many more have drastically changed from heart centric to brain centric. In fact, a constant change in examination pattern suggests that only 'change is permanent'.

Q. What do you mean?

Ans: I mean expect the unexpected in this competitive world. Let me elaborate this. Alumnus from premier B-schools and law schools are expected to think beyond the ordinary brains and hence they are bound to undergo stringent testing before entering into the above mentioned schools.

Q. You mean there are no shortcuts?

Ans: There are shortcuts to crack almost all the questions pertaining to these examinations. But unfortunately there is no shortcut to hard work.

Q. How do you differentiate between hard work and smart work?

Ans: You have to club hard work with smart planning. Here we cannot differentiate hard work from smart work. Let me make a very lucid point. Hard work complemented with smart decisions definitely bolsters one’s career. You can neither rely only on hard work nor on smart decisions; have to club them together.

Q. Does Trump’s administration really affect Indians' dreams of attaining their MBA and MS in the United States of America?

Ans: No, top colleges in the USA like Harvard, Stanford and many more take admissions clearly on GRE & GMAT scores. It doesn't matter to these universities whether it is President Obama or President Donald Trump sitting at the White House. These colleges have an effusive history of more than 100 years and their policy on student intake is very encouraging and truly dependent on merit, extracurricular and social service activities.

Q. How many branches do you have?

Ans: With the invaluable blessing of my students complemented with my team’s passion, we now have 68 centres in India and ten centres abroad.

Q. Can you elaborate more on VPROV Foundation?

Ans: As part of our social responsibility (CSR) towards our society, I started VPROV Foundation way back in 2009. From 2009, we are providing free coaching to physically challenged, poor students, blind students and HIV-positive students. I sincerely request your readers to spread information about our Foundation activities to as many people as they can, so that these sections of students will really benefit from our activities.

VPROV will be conducting a free workshop on 'How to face upcoming MBA, MS and job-based entrance examinations (CAT,GRE, GMAT and bank jobs) on March 12 at 3 pm at VPROV office. A person IQ is extremely important with hard work. Smart study is good but not study hard. There is no substitute to hard work.Smartness, ability to think in the right direction along with a decent memory are important in success in any field.I wish many more youth to come up and make our country bright.
