Mangaluru: Konkani film 'Aa Vai Jaa Saa' to be screened in Delhi

Mangaluru, Mar 10: International award winning and first ever Konkani children's film 'Aa Vai Jaa Saa' directed by Dr Ramesh Kamath will be screened at the All India Konkani Sahitya Sammelan organised by Akhila Bharathiya Konkani Parishad from March 10 to 12 at the prestigious Constitution Club in New Delhi.











'Aa Vai Jaa Saa' will be shown as part of cultural programme on March 11 at the Speakers Hall of Constitution Club. the sammelan is being held for te first time in New Delhi. Around 1000 Konkani delegates are expected to attend the function from all over India.

'Aa Vai Jaa Saa' produced by Mallika Film India Production stars Sarthak Shenoy, Shreyas Kamath, Samarth Shenoy, Spandana V Pai, Dr K Ramesh Kamath, Vasudha Prabhu, Zeta Usha Fernandes, Karthik Shenoy, Gopinath Bhat,  Dinesh Prabhu, P R Nayak, Dr Mahesh Shenoy, Chempi Ramachandra Bhat, Sathish Kullappa Pai, Santosh Kullappa Pai, Omganesh Kamath, Kemthur Kamath, Vinutha, Venkatesh Pai, Rajani Pai and Joseph Crasta. Along with directing, Kamath has also written the story, screenplay, lyrics and dialogues of the film.

The songs have been composed by Diwaan Giridhar and the banground score is by M M Yashas. The songs have been sung by Shankar Shanbhogue, Mahalaxmi Shenoy, Ankita Kundu and Abhinav. The cinematography and the editing has been handled by Ramesh Koira and Arun P Thomas respectively. While the visual effects have been provided by M Chethan of Future Age Studios, the sound designing and mixing is handled by Abhinath. Matthew has worked on the colour grading of the film. The publicity designs are by Sanjay Chapolkar.

Railway minister Suresh Prabhu, MP Oscar Fernandes and other dignitaries are expected to attend the programme. There will be many literary programmes as well. Cultural programmes by artists from all over the world will be performed in the evenings.
