Mangaluru: 'Chapter' audio launched in grand style

Mangaluru, Mar 7: The audio of the much-awaited Tulu film 'Chapter' was formally launched on Sunday, March 5. MLA Mohiudeen Bawa and makers of the film unveiled the album at a grand event at Forum Fiza Mall.

The movie features four songs along with an item number which have been composed by Surendranath. He is known for a few movies in Kannada including 'Kinare' and 'Yenendu Hesaridali'.

Chapter stars Ashtik Shetty, Aishwarya Hegde and Sanjana Naidu in the lead role. The film has been directed by Mohan Bhatkal and produced by LV Production. The film also stars Aravind Bolar and Gopinath Bhat. Kannada serial Ashwini Nakshatra fame Sunil will play a negative character in the film.

Mohan Bhatkal will make his debut as a director with Chapter. Mohan has earlier worked as assistant director of Sandalwood hits like Gaja, Brindavana, Power. Chapter' is said to be a complete entertainer. The post-production work of the film is almost complete. The film has been shot across Mangaluru, Bengaluru, Udupi, Kundapur and Agumbe in a 33-day schedule. The film is likely to hit screens in April.

Speaking on the occasion MLA Mohiudeen Bava said, "Several Tulu movies have been successful in the last two years. Coastalwood cinema is on a roll which is great. Tulu films should be on par with Kannada movies. It really good to see people supporting our Tulu films".

Actress Aishwarya Hegde, Prakash Pandeshwar, Youth Congress president Mithun Rai, mayor Harinath, Umesh Mijar, Aravind Bolar and others were present.
