Mangaluru: Happy shopping! Week-long 'Harshotsava' begins at Harsha outlets

Mangaluru, Mar 6: It's shopping time for consumers in the coastal region as the annual shopping festival 'Harshotsava 2017' by Harsha consumer goods retailer began here on Monday March 6.

The week-long shopping festival was inaugurated and blessed by Milagres parish priest Fr Valerian D'Souza at Harsha's Falnir showroom.

Address the gathering, Fr Valerian D'Souza said, "Harsha has become a household name in the city. People are the backbone of this institution. People come in large numbers to Harsha and have appreciated its service over the years. I wish all the best to the entire team of Harsha."

Former president of Milagres parish council Allwyn Rosario, president of Milagres parish council Ivan D'Souza, senior manager (public relations) Jayaram, chief mentor Harsha Vikram Pai, head of HR Srikanth Poojary, branch manager of Falnir showroom Ramith Karkera were present.

'Harshotsava 2017' at Harsha's KS Rao Road showroom was inaugurated by H S Nayak, proprietor of Nayak Buisness. Director of operations Ashok Kumar, Nishanth Shet, Anand, director of SILA Advertisers Walter Monteiro, branch manager of KS Rao Road showroom Shridhar Acharya and others were present.

In Udupi, the week-long event was inaugurated by J J Pateel at Harsha Electronics showroom near Mother of Sorrows Church. A host of retail and exchange offers will be open for the customers till March 12

Speaking on the occasion, supervisor Darshan said, "Harsha is offering varieties of products to shoppers at great prices. Instant lucky coupons and gift hampers will be rewarded to customers as part of celebration."

Managing director Surya Prakash, M K Sunil and H D Poojary were present.

Harsha which was started on March 9, 1987 has completed 30 years. 'Harshotsava' is celebrated every year from Monday to Sunday to mark the anniversary week. Harsha operates 11 stores Udupi, Mangaluru, Belagavi, Dharwad, Bengaluru, Shivamogga, Hubbali, Puttur and Kundapur.

As part of Harshotsava celebration, maximum discounts, prizes and gift hampers are made available for the customers at Harsha showrooms on purchase of a variety of items.
