Los Angeles, Feb 24 (IANS): Singer Lady Gaga reportedly wants to follow the footsteps of singer Barbra Streisand, the only artist to have number one albums in each of the last six decades.
According to sources, Gaga is obsessed with Streisand, reports aceshowbiz.com.
"Gaga has built a little shrine to Streisand in her house. She listens to Streisand records constantly and watches her movies all the time," a source told Naughty Gossip website.
"Gaga doesn't want to follow in Madonna's footsteps, she wants to follow in Streisand's. Babs is the only artist with number one albums in each of the last six decades and she has a movie career. Which is Gaga's next big passion," the source added.
Gaga has just started pre-production on a remake of Streisand's hit film, "A Star Is Born", opposite Bradley Cooper. And now, she is reportedly even eyeing a remake of another Streisand movie, "Funny Girl".
