Hyderabad Police Sub-inspector caught red handed with Techie's wife

Hyderabad, Feb 22 (Deccan Chronicle) : A sub-inspector from Khammam 2 Town police station was caught with his pants down at a house in SR Nagar with a software engineer’s wife.

The woman’s husband caught the cop, called the police and handed him over to them. SR Nagar police arrested the sub-inspector B. Vijay Kumar on charges of adultery.

The SI and the woman had become friends on Facebook, and they had been seeing each other for a while without her husband’s knowledge. The woman’s husband, Veera Brahmam, lodged a complaint with the SR Nagar police, following which the cops booked a case against him. Vijay Kumar, a native of Karimnagar, is married and has two children.

The dramatic incident unfolded on Sunday night, when the SI came to visit the woman at her place at Kamadhenu Apartments in Motinagar. Her husband, who had grown suspicious, concealed himself in the same building and waited for the paramour to arrive.

“He told his wife that he was going to office. But he hid in the same building. When the SI entered his flat, the husband locked it from outside and called us,” said an investigating official. A team of police went to the apartment and took the man into custody. Later, they realised that he was a police officer from Khammam. “He had been coming to Hyderabad from Khammam to meet the woman often. Hearing whispers from neighbours, her husband had grown suspicious,” said the official.

Mr Brahmam told police that he had night duty and he came home in the mornings. His wife and her six-year-old child remained in the apartment. The SI visited her when Mr Brahram went to office. Police has booked a case against the SI under IPC 441 (for criminal trespass) and 497 (for adultery).
