Soldier held with ammunition at Srinagar airport


Srinagar, Feb 20 (IANS): A soldier was arrested on Monday at the Srinagar international airport with ammunition.

Rifleman P.K. Gouda of Rashtriya Rifles was detained after 15 rounds of live ammunition were recovered from his possession, police said. He was to board a flight for Delhi.

The soldier, who is from Bihar, was being questioned to find out why he had live ammunition.
