Mangaluru, Feb 16: Police in Ullal on Thursday February 16 removed banners, flags and welcome arcs put up by Popular Front of India (PFI) relating to their programme scheduled to take place on February 17. Police have also booked the organizers for hanging these things without authorization.

PFI has planned to hold a Unity March on Friday, February 17 as part of their anniversary. They hung the banners, flags and welcome arcs in Ullal, Kallapu, Thokkottu, Chembugudde areas to give publicity to the event.

Ullal police, on instructions from ACP Shruthi, removed the publicity material as the organizers have not obtained permission from the district administration for the programme.

A case has been registered against PFI in Ullal police station.

    DEAR ALL
I Think the permission is a must for all the banners. I would advise the PFI to process the permission first than do the jobs. Its true that most of our police personals are the WELL WISHER of violent organisation, RSS /BD / VHP etc. Therefore, Muslim organisation must be careful. not to rely on oral permission. instead take every steps Lawfully.
Dear All My Fellow Non Violance Indians : YOU ARE THE CREATION OF MY CREATOR. in every GRANDH, creator instructed the human to follow LAW of THE LAND of the place where you live. Please obey the CREATOR

Please read and understand police statement. PFI has not obtained permission and not denied permission. You can not take law in your hands. First obtain permission through legal means and if denied then there are many other legal ways to persue your interest but certainly not this way.
